About us

We are a family run company that have personally experienced the requirement for family members to wear medical ID jewellery in order to keep them safe. We try our very best to bring you a modern approach to the medical ID. There are many conditions in which you should wear a Medical ID. Our Medical ID Jewellery is designed to speak for you when you are unable. If you have a chronic medical condition, are allergic to certain medications or certain foods, or take particular medication then you should wear a Medical ID.

My Identity are giving back.

We are excited to team up with Diabetes New Zealand to create custom pieces of jewellery.

Each quarter, somebody well known in our community will design a piece of jewellery and all the profits from the sale of that product will go back into supporting Diabetes NZ and our community.

Our first designer is Ruby McGill - Director of Youth, Diabetes NZ. Ruby was the director of youth for Diabetes NZ, a mum of two, businesswoman, blogger, columnist and has lived with Type 1 diabetes for almost 20 years after being diagnosed at 14.

Ruby is an advocate for young people living with diabetes and is responsible for the Diabetes NZ programmes and campaigns that support young people, their whānau and their communities to ensure they live beyond their diagnosis. Ruby manages the Diabetes NZ newly diagnosed packs, #1 packs with Jerry the bear and our global partnership with Beyond Type 1 and is always on the lookout for new ways to better support people living with diabetes in Aotearoa.

We had lots of fun designing this first piece via text and email whilst we were both on holidays. Ruby was a pleasure to work with and we can't wait for you all to see what she has designed.
